Noor Hogerzeil is a counsel at the firm. She has extensive experience in complex (multi-jurisdictional) commercial and product litigation, with a focus on mass and collective action litigation.

Before joining the firm, Noor worked at a leading international law firm, where she was part of the firm’s Global Class Actions Core Team and ESG Team. In that capacity she was also a regular speaker on collective redress and ESG litigation as well as a contributor to firm publications regarding these topics. She started her career at another leading Dutch litigation firm. Noor is fluent in Dutch, German and English.

Represented an international bank in collective action proceedings relating to the alleged manipulation of interest rate benchmarks.

Represented a global medical device manufacturer in mass litigation regarding allegedly defective hip implants.

Represented a multinational airline in air cargo follow-on civil damages cases.

Represented a global certification company against liability claims resulting from allegedly inappropriate certification of a breast implant manufacturer.

Represented a leading automotive-OEM in a complex dispute with a supplier involving supply chain issues.

Advised multiple clients on European and national rules in the area of collective consumer actions.


Noor Hogerzeil has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

Milieudefensie et al. claimed that Shell has a societal duty of care to reduce its emissions by 2030 with 45% compared to 2019. In first instance the District Court of The Hague ruled in favor of Milieudefensie et al. The Court of Appeal overturned the District Court’s decision and rejected the claims.
